Navigation

The navigation for Data and Analytics (DnA) is complex because of the different areas that it shelters: data processing (main area) and services under this area, user profile and collections, content creation, and other services and their components.

To organize this, the components were divided into three categories: data science/processing, users, and other services. These categories are zoned accordingly in the layout on the homepage.

On the homepage, the menu for data science is dictated by the stages in which data is processed by data scientists: Gather, Prepare, Analyze, and Present. Under each category are products that can be used within each stage.

In the image above, there are two types of secondary pages. The secondary pages coming from the Data Science category (which is the main focus and driver of the platform) consists of a hero image and feature tiles. The pages coming from the User and Other Services categories are more utilitarian without heroes and extra features.
